Google and Facebook ads, aimed at people near you
Google and Facebook ads put you in front of people near you now, while the rest builds. Ads start in Get Customers (Tier 2). You set the ad budget. It is billed to you separately.
What we do
What we do with your ads
Search ads for the jobs you want. A separate set of ads for each main service, each sending people to a page about that service in that area. We test them and keep the ones that work.
Local Services Ads, if Google says your business qualifies. The profile, the job types and the hours, Google's screening, and the leads connected to your phone and your lead list.
Facebook ads. Ads shown to people near you, with pages that match each ad.
Blocked searches (negative keywords). Searches from people shopping for parts or products are kept out, so the budget goes to people who want the work done.
Your account and your spend. The ads account stays in your name. Ad spend is billed separately on top of the tier price, and you decide how much.
Ads start in Get Customers (Tier 2). Every call and form from an ad is counted like any other.
Why it matters for calls
Owners often mix these up, so here is each one on its own. Search ads are text ads at the top of the search results, paid per click. Local Services Ads are Google's pay-per-lead ads with a "Google Verified" badge, if Google says your business qualifies. Facebook ads show to people near you while they scroll.
Showing up on the map can take time in a busy area. Ads are a way to be seen while that work goes on. They also stop when the money stops, which is why they sit beside your listing and your pages, not in place of them.
For the pay-per-lead ads, Google says that if you regularly fail to answer calls or respond to messages, your ad ranking may be affected. Fast replies matter here more than anywhere.

Which trades can use Google's pay-per-lead ads
Google's US list decides who can run its pay-per-lead ads. For the jobs that are not on it, search ads do the same work.

Nobody can promise a cost per lead.
Google runs its ads as an auction, so what a click or a lead costs depends on your trade, your area and who else is bidding, and it moves. Google decides which leads to credit back. It says some low-quality leads may be credited automatically, and nobody can promise more than that.
We aim the ads at the work you sell, keep shoppers for parts out, and count every call and form they bring, so you can see what you got for the money.
We will not promise you
- A cost per lead or a cost per job
- A number of leads
- A return on what you spend
- The Google Verified badge
- That Google will credit a bad lead

Questions
Questions about ads
Can my trade use Local Services Ads?
Many home service trades can. On Google's US list, checked 7 Oct 2026: general contractors, kitchen and bathroom remodeling, roofers, painters, flooring, siding and fencing; plumbers, HVAC, electricians, garage door services and appliance repair; carpet cleaning, house cleaning and water damage; moving and junk removal; and window cleaning. Pressure washing and gutter cleaning are not on the list, so search ads do that job.
What is the difference between Local Services Ads and Google Ads?
Local Services Ads are Google's pay-per-lead ads. They show above everything else with a "Google Verified" badge, you pay for a lead rather than a click, and only some trades can use them. Search ads are the text ads in Google Ads, paid per click, and any trade can run them.
Is ad spend included in the price?
No. Ad spend is always billed separately on top of the tier price. It goes to Google or Facebook, and you decide how much. Our monthly price is for the work. Ads start in Get Customers (Tier 2).
Will Google charge me for bad leads?
Sometimes. Google says some low-quality leads may be credited automatically, and Google decides which. We cannot promise a credit. Our part is making sure every lead reaches you fast, because Google also says that regularly missing calls or messages can affect how your ads rank.
Who owns my website, listing and ads account?
You do. Your Google listing, ads account, Search Console, website code and hosting stay in your name. We are added as helpers to do the work. If you stop, you keep all of it.
